Ram Power Wagon Fuel Economy. 2017 Ram Power Wagon is large & in charge Does it really matter? Folks ask me "What kind of gas mileage do you get?" I say, "I didn't buy it for the fuel economy, I bought it for what it's capable of." However, for what it's worth, my 2010 5.7 gets 2-18mpg depending on what I'm doing and has a daily driving non-reset average of high 13's and I'm on 37's. I closely monitor/reset often the Fuel Economy indicator and it seems that I get 16.5mpg on highway and about 11-12mpg around town
